Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday expressed his anger over how more than a thousand non-Hindu people were given jobs at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He wondered whether Hindus would he given jobs in mosques and churches?

He was angry that despite the change of governments and rulers, the non-Hindu employees continue to employ them in the TTF. He demanded that they be removed from their jobs immediately. He also demanded that the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, where the foundation stone was laid in Karimnagar, be constructed immediately. He also demanded that special funds be allocated for the Illandakunta Ram Temple and the Kondagattu Anjanna Temples and their development.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who came to Tirumala today with his family members on the occasion of his birthday, had darshan of the Lord. On the occasion of Bandi Sanjay's birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagadish Dhankhar, Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and many other Central and State ministers and celebrities sent messages wishing him well.

Amit Shah called Bandi Sanjay and wished him a happy birthday. On the other hand, Bandi Sanjay spoke to the media after visiting the Lord. “Today, I visited the Lord on my birthday. I prayed  the Lord to grant the strength and abilities to Prime Minister Modi, who is working tirelessly for the construction of a powerful India, for development of the country, and for the welfare of the people, to live a hundred years full of health and longevity,” he said.

Stating   that temples in Telugu States that are not even offering incense sticks, he said ancient temples that are not being developed should be identified, TTD funds should allocated and a plan should  prepared on a war footing to develop them. Noting the groundwork was laid for construction of the Venkateswara Swamy temple in Karimnagar, he said it should be built immediately and added that funds should be allocated for the Illandakunta Ram Temple and Kondagattu Anjanna Temple.
