Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has projected Hyderabad as one of the world’s most promising global investment destinations, highlighting its international-grade infrastructure, investor-friendly environment, and geographical advantage of being centrally located in India. The Chief Minister was addressing the annual summit of the US–India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) held in New Delhi on Thursday.

Speaking at the summit, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized that Hyderabad has emerged as India’s “Gateway for Global Investments,” with an unmatched ecosystem for industries, innovation, and skilled talent. He said Telangana’s young population and rapid economic growth make it the preferred choice for investors worldwide. The CM noted that governments led by various parties, including Congress, have consistently supported industrial growth and investment over the past 35 years.

The Chief Minister showcased the state’s “TelanganaRising 2047 Vision”, outlining his mission to transform Hyderabad into a truly international city—anchored in women’s empowerment, quality education, skill development, urban growth, and high living standards. He explained that within 23 months, his government has implemented multiple welfare and development initiatives and is laying the groundwork for the “Bharat Future City”, spread across 30,000 acres, envisioned as India’s next-generation smart city.

Highlighting major infrastructure projects such as the Musi River rejuvenation, Regional Ring Road, radial corridors, Metro expansion, dry port development, and the industrial zone between ORR and RRR, the CM said Telangana will be the “global answer to the China+1 model.”

Revanth Reddy invited world-class universities—Harvard, Stanford, and Oxford—to establish offshore campuses in Hyderabad, citing low costs and easier visa access for students from the Global South. He also announced a new symbolic initiative—naming Hyderabad’s major roads after global companies like Google, Meta, TCS, and Infosys, breaking away from the traditional political naming trend.

The CM’s bold vision to make Telangana a trillion-dollar economy by 2047 received an overwhelming response at the summit. His presentation impressed global business leaders and investors, with John Chambers, former Cisco CEO, praising it as “bold, clear, and achievable.” Chambers lauded the CM’s ideas for their transparency, ambition, and strong social impact.

Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President of USISPF, announced that a majority of their members will attend the TelanganaRising Global Summit in Hyderabad on December 8–9, stating that the forum is keen to engage closely with the state’s transformative agenda. With this global endorsement, Hyderabad further cements its position as a future-ready hub for technology, innovation, and inclusive economic growth.
