Hyderabad Commissioner AV Ranganath emphasized the need for advanced technology to transmit fire accident alerts within seconds. During an inspection of a fire incident at Dukes Avenue in Sheikhpet, he praised the timely response of the Hydra Disaster Response Force (DRF) and fire personnel, which confined the fire damage to the second floor of the building housing Akash Institute.

Ranganath suggested implementing AI-based fire alarm systems and modern methods to reduce fire incidents and urged building owners to install alert systems for early warnings. He directed officials to review CCTV footage to identify the fire's cause and advised preventive measures for future safety.
