The IBM team presented various gifts and accessories to persons with disabilities on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities at Helen Keller Institution, Ramakrishnapuram. The closing ceremony of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities was held at the institution on Saturday.
The Chief Guest of the event was Anil Sriram, Associate Partner, IBM India and the Guest of Honor was Krishna Vikas. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Kabir, Account Manager, IBM India and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Kabir a medical professor from Hyderabad and Founder Chairman of Helen Keller Institution Lion Patan Umar Khan were present on the occasion.
Chief Guest Anil Sriram appreciated that Helen Keller Institute has been providing education to 700 deaf children and 40 mentally challenged people. Prof. Mohammed Abdul Kabir said that the students suffering from hearing impairment will be provided with the necessary treatment. Patan Umarkar congratulated the students who have been serving for 40 years.
