ICFAI hosts inter-college sports fest ‘Arudveg 2026’

The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad organized a three-day inter-college sports festival “Arudveg 2026” from March 13 to March 15, 2026 at its campus. The inaugural ceremony was held on March 13, marking the beginning of the sporting competitions, while the valedictory ceremony and prize distribution took place on March 15. 

Shobha Rani Yasaswy, Chairperson, ICFAI Society graced the opening ceremony to encourage sportsmanship among young students. Prof. S. VijayaLaxmi, Registrar, ICFAI in her inaugural speech emphasized the importance of sports events in promoting the holistic development of students. Students competed in multiple sporting disciplines like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Kabaddi, Badminton, Table Tennis, Throwball, Chess, Lawn Tennis etc. About 600 Students from 29 renowned colleges participated in the competitions which is the largest inter-college sports events hosted by the ICFAI University. The event concluded on March 15, where winners were felicitated and participants were appreciated for their dedication and sportsmanship.
