IIMC College, in collaboration with Khairatabad Police, organized a cyber crime awareness session under the "Jagrath Hyderabad – Surakshath Hyderabad" initiative on December 30.

Khairatabad SI Sandeep Reddy highlighted that educated individuals are often targeted by cyber fraudsters and stressed that awareness is key to prevention. CI Venkat Reddy advised attendees to be cautious of suspicious links, APK files, and messages, and urged them to report incidents promptly to the helpline 1930.

Principal Kura Raghuveer encouraged students to remain vigilant and spread awareness about cyber crimes within their families and communities. The program was attended by faculty, staff, volunteers, and students, who gained practical insights on staying safe online.

Participants learned how to protect personal information, recognize potential scams, and respond effectively if targeted, reinforcing the importance of caution, reporting, and community awareness in combating cyber threats.
