IIMC College’s sixth edition of ‘Telugu Velugu’ program a success

The IIMC College auditorium witnessed the sixth edition of the ‘Telugu Velugu’ program, a joint initiative by Yuvabharati, a literary and cultural organization, IIMC College and Sadhan Sahiti Sravanti. The event was held on the first Monday of the month coinciding with Sri Rama Navami. Professor Vangapalli Viswanatham, Founder and Convener of the event, welcomed the guests and spoke about the significance of the program.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Choodamani, a renowned scholar, delivered a lecture on ‘Ramayana Kruthulu - Sahiti Sourabhalu,’ highlighting the unique aspects of various Ramayana adaptations and their literary significance. Susarla Sudhanya, a medical student, performed an impressive Ashtavadhanam, answering questions from eight experts on various topics. Eight experts participated in the Ashtavadhanam, asking questions on diverse subjects.

The event saw a large turnout of literature enthusiasts, IIMC principal K Raghuveer, Dr Phaneendra, Ravindra, Narayana Reddy, Naveen Ramakrishna, Shyam, other faculty members, and students from IIMC College. The event was also streamed live on YouTube through the Yuvabharati channel.
