The American Telugu Association (ATA) hosted a Startup Pitch Day at IIT Hyderabad’s Convention Center on Saturday as part of its “ATA Celebrations–2025.” The event, in collaboration with the Institutions Innovation Council and IIT Hyderabad, brought together startup founders, investors, educators, and IT experts to promote innovation and global networking.
ATA President Jayant Challa and Elect President Satish Ramasahayam Reddy attended, while Dr. Panneerselvam Madanagopal, CEO of MeitY Startup Hub, highlighted government support for India’s growing startup ecosystem. A panel on scaling challenges and opportunities featured IIT professors, venture capitalists, and industry leaders sharing insights on funding, commercialization, and market expansion.
Startups pitched their ideas to judges, who selected the best ventures and offered mentorship, funding, and industry connections. The event marked a key step in strengthening India–US startup collaboration.
