The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set to launch the EOS-09 satellite into orbit at 5.59 am on the 18th of May through the PSLV C61 rocket, which is its 101st launch, from Sriharikota Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR. The rocket connectivity works were completed at the rocket assembly building. 9 ISRO scientists have completed all the work to launch the RISAT-1B satellite. The PSLV C61 rocket was built by scientists in four phases using fully indigenous technology.

Through this launch, ISRO scientists have completed the rocket launch arrangements and are prepared to send three Indian satellites-EOS-09 (RISAT-1B), CGU SAT and LEAP-1, as well as the PHOENIX SAT of the US as well as the SOWA-1 satellites of Poland, into the sun synchronous solar orbit at an altitude of 529 kilometers.

ISRO's 100th rocket launch was the GSLV F15 and it achieved great success. In the wake of some of the recent tense situations in the country's borders, by launching the PSLV C61 rocket launch through the 101st rocket launch, ISRO has identified the need for this surveillance satellite and has completed all arrangements for its launch. RISAT is being launched under the name of EOS09.

Scientists have already revealed that the 1B Earth Observation Satellite is also highly powerful in the country's border areas in which terrorist movements are detected day and night without any difference. ISRO scientists are working tirelessly to provide valuable services to the Indian defense sector by launching at least 52 surveillance satellites into the earth's orbit over the next five years to protect the country. According to ISRO sources, the EOS-09 SAT will be used to track the enemy's performance, monitor the borders and assist the tri-services during military operations.
