The International Women's Day was celebrated at Ravindra Bharathi under the auspices of the Vaikuntham Trust and Jai Mahabharath Party (National Party), led by its founder, chairman and spiritual leader Bhagawan Sri Anantha Vishnu Dev Prabhu. In his address, he highlighted the historical significance of the day.

He noted that International Women's Day is observed annually on March 8 and that its origins trace back to 1908, when women garment workers in New York City staged the first major protest demanding better working hours and wages. He further recalled that the United Nations officially recognized March 8 as International Women's Day in 1975.

As part of the event, participating women were honored with certificates of appreciation and mementos. The program saw enthusiastic participation from women leaders of the Jai Mahabharath Party and the party supporters.
