Jamia Millia Islamia Central University commemorated the 1443rd birth anniversary of Imam Hussain (a.s) at Dr. M.A. Ansari Auditorium. The event, organized by the Jamia Millia Islamia Students' Association, was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif and featured Chief Guest Dr. Fariduddin Faridasr, Cultural Counselor of Iran. Other dignitaries included Haji Hanifa Jaan, Member of Parliament (Ladakh)BJP Telangana Former State Spokesperson Mir Firasath Ali Baqri Moulana Syed Kalbe Rushaid Razvi, Dr. Sufi Raj Jain, Prof.Azra Abedi, Prof. Raihan Akthar Qasmi, Prof. Hasnain Akthar, and Dr. Majid Talikoti. Feroz Ahmed delivered the welcome address, while Prof. Nashir Naqvi conducted the proceedings and Prof. Syed Kaleem Asghar offered the vote of thanks Condule by National Anthem.
