Metro India News | AMARAVATI : The Jana Sena Party will hold a state-level meeting in Kakinada on September 22 to review preparations for the upcoming local body elections, with party president and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan scheduled to chair the meeting. The meeting will bring together the party’s MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporation chairpersons, along with local body coordinators appointed for the 25 parliamentary constituencies across the State. Members of the coordination committees and support teams will also participate.
The meeting is expected to focus on the party’s preparedness at the constituency level and the organizational strategy required ahead of the local body elections. Party leaders will review the preparations to be undertaken in individual constituencies, with particular emphasis on strengthening coordination between the alliance partners at the grassroots level. The functioning of local coordination mechanisms and the conduct of party programs at the field level are also expected to come up for discussion.
The leadership will assess the organizational readiness of the party across the parliamentary constituencies and discuss measures to ensure better coordination among its various units. The meeting assumes significance as political parties step up organizational activity in preparation for local body elections. The Jana Sena leadership is expected to use the Kakinada meeting to provide directions to its representatives and coordinators on constituency-level preparations and grassroots mobilization.
The participation of elected representatives and members of the newly constituted coordination and support teams is expected to facilitate discussions on local-level issues and election preparedness. The meeting will be chaired by Pawan Kalyan, who also serves as the State Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president.
