Minister Durgesh said that around 42 companies attended the mega job mela and more than 2000 jobs are likely to be created. All the selected candidates at the mega job mela were handed over the appointment letters

Minister for Tourism and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh on Friday assured the youth that the government is committed in providing employment opportunities to all the unemployed in the state. He was the chief guest at the mega job mela organized by Vikas JKC at Velagapudi Durgamba Government Women's Degree College in Nidadavolu. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Durgesh said that around 42 companies attended the mega job mela and more than 2000 jobs are likely to be created. He described mega job melas as a golden opportunity for the youth.
The Minister reminded that the government had already already announced mega DSC with more than 16,000 posts in the state. The Minister asked the students not to be disappointed if any of those who attended the job mela could not find a job and assured that in the coming days, training programs will be conducted in to skill them and get employment. Minister Durgesh recalled that Minister Nara Lokesh had paid special attention to the issue of creating 20 lakh jobs in five years. He said that an industrialist should be created from every house as stated by CM Chandrababu Naidu.
All the selected candidates at the mega job mela were handed over the appointment letters by the minister. Former MLA and Telugu Desam Party in-charge Boorugupalli Sesha Rao said that the state government will provide jobs to the youth in a big way. Nidadavolu Municipality Chairman Bhupathi Adinarayana, Vikasa PD K Lacha Rao, District Skill Development Authority Officer GVD Murali, SVRK Boys' College Principal Dr. Dr. K. Jyothi, Principal, SVD Women's College. Rudra, alliance leader P. Nagendra and others participated.
