Job opportunities for minority youth in Germany: Minister

State Law and Minority Welfare Minister N.M.D. Farooq said on Friday that the government is providing job opportunities in Germany to the minority youth of the state. He said that those who have passed the three-year electrician trade qualification are eligible to apply for jobs in Germany, with a maximum age limit of 30 years and at least two years of experience in relevant electrician work. 

Minister Farooq said that those who are selected for electrician jobs in Germany can earn a salary of 2,600 to 2,700 euros per month (Rs 2.60 lakh to Rs 2.70 lakh in Indian currency) and that the person can work in Germany under a two-year contract. Farooq said that the government is conducting a special training program for about 12 or 14 weeks in German language in Rajahmundry to impart 8 hours of special training every day. 

The application and training fee of Rs 1.15 lakh will have to be paid in three instalments. Candidates must register for jobs in Germany by November 2. All eligible minority candidates should submit their biodata to skillinternational@apssdc.in apart from submitting relieving letter from present working company, education related certificates and a copy of their passport.
