JPNCE students selected for India–Japan Hackathon

Students of Jayaprakash Narayan Engineering College (JPNCE), Mahabubnagar, have been selected for the India–Japan Innovation Hackathon, bringing recognition to the institution. A total of 140 teams participated in the regional-level hackathon organized by NARA Japan Hub. Among them, JPNCE team secured a place among the top 17 teams selected by a panel comprising experts from IEEE and Japan. As part of the next stage, these 17 teams will participate in the India–Japan Festival to be held on October 11 at Hitec City.

Representatives of various Japanese companies will interact with the students, examine their innovations and discuss opportunities and collaborations required to transform their ideas into practical solutions. Representing JPNCE, the selected team members are Saroj Choudhary (AIML–III), B. Vinay Kumar (CSE–III), Varun (AIML–III), and Praneeth (CSE–II). College Chairman K. S. Ravi Kumar congratulated the students and stated that hackathons help students develop the ability to identify real-world problems and create innovative solutions for them.
