JRB Group expects to scale its turnover to about Rs 1,000 crore within the next five years, supported by expansion across its key brands Sagar Ratna, Swagath and Ocean World, Managing Director Roshan Banan said.

The group’s revenue in 2024-25 stood at over Rs 450 crore, and the company is currently growing at 12-15 per cent annually. With multiple rollouts planned across its restaurant and hospitality businesses, the company aims to nearly double its topline by FY32.

JRB Group plans to expand Sagar Ratna significantly, which currently has around 170 outlets, including those set to open in the next six months. The company expects to add more than 26 new outlets by FY27, focusing on Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bengaluru and other major cities.

A capex of Rs 30-35 crore has been set aside for Sagar Ratna’s expansion until FY27, funded through internal accruals and debt. Banan said the company will gradually shift towards an 80:20 company-owned to franchise model, with a focus on malls, airports, high streets and food courts.

JRB is also preparing for its overseas entry, with two Sagar Ratna outlets scheduled to open in the Netherlands and Luxembourg by March. The company plans to expand across Europe within three years, while the US and Southeast Asia are also being explored. A restaurant in Japan is planned next year.

Its seafood brand Swagath, currently with 13 outlets, will add around five outlets in India and two overseas by FY27. The hospitality brand Ocean World, which has seven properties in Karnataka, will add four new hotels in Tirupati and Bengaluru over the next five years.
