Jubilee hills SV temple Brahmotsavams begin with Dhwajarohanam ceremony

The annual Brahmotsavams at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Jubilee Hills commenced here on Tuesday with the traditional Dhwajarohanam performed at 10:30 AM amid Vedic chants and Govinda Nama Smarana. The sacred Garuda flag was ceremoniously hoisted on the Dwajasthambam as per agama traditions, symbolically inviting the 18 Ganas and Mukoti Devatas.

The rituals were conducted under the supervision of Kankanabhattar Sri P. Krishnasai. As part of the festivities, Vahana Sevas will be held daily in the morning and evening from February 17 to 25. Key events include Garuda Seva on February 21, Radhotsavam on February 24, and Chakra Snanam on February 25, followed by Pushpayagam on February 26 from 3 PM onwards.

Temple authorities have made elaborate arrangements for devotees, including illumination, queue management, drinking water, Annaprasadam, and security. The Vahana Sevas will be telecast live on Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel. TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu and temple officials participated in the inaugural ceremony.
