In a significant step towards strengthening advanced healthcare services for patients suffering from blood-related disorders, Kamineni Hospitals on Wednesday inaugurated a state-of-the-art Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit aimed at providing specialised treatment for children and patients battling conditions such as thalassemia, leukemia and aplastic anaemia. The facility was inaugurated by Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. He offered his blessings and urged the management to  forward the spirit of “Manava Seva Madhava Seva” (service to humanity is service to God).

The newly established unit is expected to provide advanced treatment options for children suffering from thalassemia, who currently depend on frequent blood transfusions for survival. Hospital authorities stated that bone marrow transplantation offers a long-term and potentially curative solution, particularly for underprivileged families who often find the treatment financially inaccessible.

Kamineni Hospitals Managing Director Dr. Kamineni Shashidhar said the BMT unit was established with the objective of delivering the highest standards of medical care to children suffering from thalassemia and other blood-related disorders.
