Actor opens up on intense stunts, deep themes, and strong bonds in action-packed Special Ops 2

As the countdown begins for the highly anticipated Special Ops Season 2, actor Karan Tacker opens up about the unique creative bond he shares with director Neeraj Pandey and co-star Kay Kay Menon. Known for its riveting plot and gripping realism, the franchise is all set to return with even more intensity and action.

Reprising his role as Farooq Ali, Karan dives deep into the physically demanding stunts and emotionally layered storytelling that define the show. “Every stunt came with its own set of challenges,” he shares. “Neeraj sir doesn’t believe in taking shortcuts — every location is real, and so are the risks. There were scenes where I had to jump from massive heights or take real blows. It pushes you — mentally and physically — but the thrill of it is something I wouldn’t trade.”

What makes this season even more special for Karan is his deepening association with director Neeraj Pandey. Having collaborated with him twice before, Karan says this time the partnership felt more personal. “Neeraj sir has started treating me like a friend — that’s a huge compliment in my eyes. I’ve always looked up to him for his clarity of vision and the integrity with which he approaches his craft. It feels incredible to be part of a cinematic world he’s building.”
