Stories centred on marital relationships continue to resonate with audiences, and the upcoming film Purushaha explores this timeless bond with a fresh, contemporary lens. Presented by Battula Saraswathi and produced by Battula Koteswara Rao under the Kalyan Productions banner, the film is directed by Veeru Vulavala and marks the debut of Pavan Kalyan Battula as a hero.

After creating buzz with its posters and a humorous teaser, the makers have now unveiled the theme song “Jaali Padedhevvadu… Magadi Meeda Jaali Padedhevvadu.” The song captures the often-overlooked emotional vulnerabilities of men in marital relationships through sharp humour and subtle irony. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani’s soulful vocals add warmth, empathy and depth, striking a fine balance between satire and emotion.

Composer Shravan Bharadwaj’s simple yet effective tune allows Anantha Sriram’s clever, layered lyrics to shine, gently dissecting marital dynamics without revealing too much of the plot. With post-production progressing rapidly, the release date is expected to be announced soon.
