Kilkaari – A celebration of joy through the festivals of India

Oxford Grammar High School celebrated its Foundational Stage Annual Day on Saturday, the 14th of February under the vibrant theme “Kilkaari”, symbolizing the laughter, innocence, and joyful spirit of childhood. The event beautifully blended culture and creativity, as each performance was designed around the festivals celebrated across different months of the year. 

The celebration was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Vivek Venkataswamy, Minister for Labour, Employment, Training, Factories, Mines, and Geology, Government of Telangana. In his address, the Chief Guest appreciated the school’s remarkable journey of 45 years of dedicated service in the field of education. He further stressed the significant role parents play in nurturing discipline and supporting the overall education of their children, urging them to actively participate in their child’s learning journey. 

The program was further honored by the presence of Guests of Honour, AVS Sireesha and Kausar Sayeed, who applauded the creativity of the theme and the confident participation of the young performers. Special appreciation was extended to the Director of the school Prarthana Manikonda, whose vision and leadership continue to provide a nurturing environment where young learners are encouraged to explore, express, and grow with confidence. 

The Annual Day concluded on a celebratory note, leaving behind pride and cherished memories. “Kilkaari” reflected the essence of childhood while reaffirming the school’s commitment to discipline, leadership, and holistic development.
