Kishan Reddy hails PM Modi’s transformative leadership

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and developmental initiatives while addressing the media after listening to the latest edition of Mann Ki Baat.

He said that Prime Minister Modi has been successfully conducting the monthly radio programme on the last Sunday of every month for several years, using it as a platform to connect directly with citizens and create awareness on important social and economic issues. According to him, millions of people across the country eagerly await the programme and tune in through television, radio and digital platforms along with their family members.

Kishan Reddy noted that as Prime Minister Modi is nearing the completion of 12 years in office, India has witnessed significant reforms and transformative changes across various sectors. He said the government has introduced modern and innovative administrative practices that have strengthened governance and accelerated development.

Highlighting achievements in infrastructure, the Union Minister said the country has seen a massive expansion of national highways, railway networks and modern railway stations. He added that several new trains have been introduced and advanced technologies incorporated into the railway sector. He pointed out that the number of airports in the country has more than doubled, rising from around 70 to nearly 150, significantly improving connectivity.

The Minister also emphasized the Centre’s efforts to improve rural and tribal areas through road connectivity, educational facilities and healthcare infrastructure. He said the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has connected remote villages with roads, while welfare initiatives such as the free food grain programme continue to benefit nearly 83 crore people. He also highlighted the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which provides health coverage of up to Rs. 5 lakh to poor families.

Kishan Reddy stated that despite global economic and social challenges, India continues to progress steadily under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He said the country has earned greater international recognition due to transparent and efficient governance.

Expressing gratitude to the people for their continued support to Modi, he hoped that their blessings and cooperation would continue in the years ahead.
