Padma Shri awardee and founder president of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti, Manda Krishna Madiga, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence here on Sunday.

On the occasion, Revanth Reddy warmly congratulated Manda Krishna Madiga, who recently received the esteemed Padma Shri award from President of India, Draupadi Murmu. Following this, Revanth Reddy honoured him by draping a shawl over him and presenting a memento.

In a similar vein, the Chief Minister commended Manda Krishna for his significant contributions towards social justice and the classification of Scheduled Castes (SCs). The two leaders reflected on pivotal moments from the MRPS movement, discussing the challenges encountered, their past experiences, and the overall journey toward SC categorization.
