Medchal-Malkajgiri District Additional Collector Radhika Gupta directed municipal commissioners to resolve pending Cheyutha pension cases, update records of deceased beneficiaries, and transfer pensions to spouses.
In a review meeting held at the District Collectorate, she emphasized quick processing of applications from the Chief Minister's Office and cases pending in banks and post offices remained pending in banks and post offices for several months. Issues like Aadhaar mismatches and migration must be addressed promptly.
She also instructed inspections of Anganwadi centers to ensure availability of basic amenities and called for reconstruction of dilapidated buildings. Salaries for Anganwadi teachers working as enumerators should be paid from general funds. Indiramma housing applications were also reviewed.
ZP CEO Kanthamma, DRDO Sambasiva Rao, and other officials attended the meeting.
