Medicover Hospitals launches 300-bed Super Specialty Facility in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: In a major boost to the city’s healthcare infrastructure, Medicover Hospitals, inaugurated its new 300-bed super specialty hospital in Secunderabad on Tuesday. The state-of-the-art facility promises to deliver world-class medical care closer to local residents.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, along with Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar. Local MLA Ganesh and several corporators also graced the event.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy lauded the initiative, calling it a commendable step toward making advanced healthcare accessible to all. ‘Medicover’s commitment to delivering international-standard treatment—from primary care to cutting-edge therapies—is truly noteworthy,’ he said.

Echoing similar sentiments, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar emphasized the importance of democratizing access to global medical standards. ‘Bringing such services to the common people is a remarkable achievement. I hope the doctors at Medicover work with a strong sense of service and gain public trust,’ he stated.

State Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar highlighted the broader impact on society. ‘Development in the health sector directly improves people’s quality of life. This hospital will serve as a new milestone for Telangana’s healthcare landscape,’ he remarked, praising Medicover’s efforts to bring quality care closer to the people.

Dr. G. Anil Krishna, Chairman and Managing Director of Medicover Hospitals India, said the Secunderabad center is the group’s 24th hospital in India. ‘Our goal is to offer patient-centric, precision-based treatment at affordable prices. This facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and staffed by more than 40 expert doctors,’ he said, adding that the group plans further expansion across multiple states.

With its combination of scale, expertise, and advanced infrastructure, the new hospital is set to play a vital role in enhancing healthcare delivery in the region.
