Central Bank of India held a Mega MSME Credit Outreach Programme in Hyderabad to promote entrepreneurship and spread awareness on business financing schemes for small and medium enterprises. Executive Director M. V. Murali Krishna reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to supporting MSMEs, startups, women entrepreneurs and self-employed youth, assuring faster processing and simplified documentation for credit facilities.
Badminton star Saina Nehwal attended as Guest of Honour and encouraged entrepreneurs to stay focused and disciplined while building their businesses, appreciating the bank’s initiatives. Entrepreneurs interacted with senior officials on collateral-free loans, GST-linked financing, Mudra loans, repayment terms and sector-specific support for hospitality and women-led businesses.
Officials said eligible MSMEs can access collateral-free credit under schemes covered by CGTMSE and also avail Mudra loans up to Rs 10 lakh with flexible repayment options. Special emphasis was placed on women entrepreneurs, hospitality sector and startup expansion finance.
The session highlighted working capital support, digital banking services and business expansion finance. Representatives from MSME Development Institute and TGIIC participated. The programme witnessed strong participation from across Telangana, with entrepreneurs engaging directly with senior officials.
