Military band performance captivates on 80th Independence Day

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, a resplendent Band Display was conducted at Lumbini Park, Hyderabad, adjacent to Telangana Amara Veerula Stupam on 15 Aug 2026. The event was organized by 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad under the aegis of Headquarters, Telangana & Andhra Sub Area as a tribute to our national heroes. The stirring military band performance filled the air with notes of velour and patriotism, evoking national pride.

The melodies honored the courage and dedication of soldiers who upheld the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. The ceremony reaffirmed the values of duty, unity and service. It witnessed participation by members of the defense community and civil dignitaries and concluded with a pledge to contribute towards nation building.
