Minister assures construction of community halls

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravikumar said on Sunday that community halls are being constructed for all sections of the society without any inconvenience to the people. Minister Gottipati inaugurated the completed BC Vaddera Community Hall and Gokulam Shed at T. Kopperapadu village in J. Pangalur mandal of Addanki constituency. He said that the construction of 20 community halls in the constituency has been started at a cost of Rs 6.90 crore with the contribution of various corporate and industrialists with their CSR funds. 

Speaking on the occasion, Energy Minister Gottipati Ravikumar said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is working tirelessly to take the state forward in all fields and give a golden future to the youth.The Minister said that many industries are going to come to the state in the coming days and the youth of the state will no longer have to migrate to neighboring states for jobs. As per the request of the locals, a sum of Rs 4.50 crore has already been allocated for the construction of a sub-station at T. Kopperapadu, the minister said.  

He recalled that lakhs of widows were given pension in one go, after the formation of the present government. Similarly, Andhra Pradesh is the only state in the country that spends about Rs 33,000 crore on pensions, the minister recalled. Later the minister inspected the desilting works of Mukteswaram Major Canal in Ballikurava Mandal. He directed the officials to ensure that the farmers do not face any difficulties and also to ensure that every acre is irrigated.
