Andhra Pradesh will soon find its proud place on the global tourism map, declared State Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh, as he showcased the State’s immense tourism potential at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025 being held at ExCeL London from November 4 to 6.

Minister Durgesh, accompanied by Special Secretary for Tourism Ajay Jain, represented Andhra Pradesh at one of the world’s largest tourism expos, engaging in a series of high-level meetings to promote the State’s scenic, cultural, and investment strengths.

He underscored that the government’s decision to grant industrial status to tourism ensures a supportive environment for global investors.

“It is our responsibility to safeguard and promote every investment in the tourism sector,” Durgesh told international delegates. “Andhra Pradesh will proudly take its place among the world’s premier travel destinations.”

The Minister also met prominent industry figures, including Peacock Tours CEO Kannan Sivanathan, Signature Hospitality Group CEO Ramesh Arora, and representatives from Russia and the 500 Hotels Chain, during a dinner hosted by the Indian High Commissioner.
