Kolkata, 18th June 2026: Motovolt Mobility, a prominent purpose-driven electric mobility solutions provider, has announced its continued strategic partnership with GBG EV, a leading electric vehicle fleet rental operator specialising in last-mile delivery services. Under this collaboration, Motovolt has provided GBG EV with over 200 units of its flagship MVS7 electric vehicles (powered by Indofast’s battery-swapping technology) across Delhi-NCR. This move reinforces both companies’ commitment to last-mile electrification, including reducing operational costs and providing better earning opportunities for gig workers.
The deployed MVS7 fleet is actively used by gig workers serving high-demand on-demand marketplaces, enabling riders to complete more deliveries with greater reliability and no range anxiety. The MVS7, known for its robust build, allows riders to swap a depleted battery in under a minute. MVS7 promises lower downtime as riders can get a new battery from Indofast’s wide network of battery-swapping stations. This brings a dependable, economical, and stress-free experience for the riders. The collaboration is expected to scale further as both partners continue to expand their presence in the rapidly growing quick commerce and hyperlocal delivery space.
On the association, Mr Tushar Choudhary, Founder & CEO of Motovolt Mobility, said, "We are delighted to partner with GBG EV in their mission to transform last-mile logistics through clean mobility. The gig economy is the backbone of India's quick commerce revolution, and our MVS7 is purpose-built to empower these delivery partners as a reliable mobility option. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of building a sustainable and operationally effective logistics ecosystem where performance meets purpose, making electric vehicles accessible to everyone in India.
We look forward to scaling this partnership and enabling more gig workers to embrace electric mobility with confidence." As India's quick commerce sector continues its exponential growth, the need for sustainable, cost-efficient mobility infrastructure has become critical. This alliance addresses that need by providing gig workers with access to dependable electric vehicles that enhance their earning potential while reducing vehicular emissions across Delhi NCR.
