Musk buys compound worth `290cr for his 11 kids, their moms

In 2020, tech titan Elon Musk made headlines by announcing he would sell all his properties, vowing to “own no house”. Cut to 2024, the world’s richest person has secretly bought a 14,400-sqft compound in Texas for $35mn (`295 crore) to house all his 11 kids and his 3 former partners, an NYT report said.
The compound includes two properties resembling an Italian Tuscan villa and a six-bedroom home directly behind it. Sources told NYT Musk was keen on maintaining secrecy, and he made the sellers of the properties sign non-disclosure agreements.
