Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Friday demanded an unconditional apology from Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of misleading youth over allegations related to the DSC recruitment process.
In a post on X, Lokesh said every allegation made by the YSRCP chief had been disproven by facts and data and noted that courts had also dismissed the claims. He said the rulings vindicated the government's position that the recruitment process was conducted transparently and in accordance with established procedures.
“Jagan Reddy’s false narrative has been completely exposed. Every allegation has been disproven, and the courts have reaffirmed our stand,” Lokesh said.
The minister asserted that the DSC recruitment process now stands fully validated and that the government remains focused on creating employment opportunities for aspiring teachers across the state.
Lokesh accused the YSRCP of spreading misinformation and creating unnecessary anxiety among lakhs of DSC candidates. He said Jagan should apologise to Andhra Pradesh’s youth for what he described as baseless allegations.
The remarks further intensified the political confrontation over DSC recruitment, with the ruling NDA government maintaining that legal scrutiny had cleared the process and that attention should now shift to strengthening education and employment opportunities.
