The National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials today conducted searches in Warangal district. They raided the house of former Maoist Gade Innaiah. The NIA officials also conducted searches at Gade Innayya's ashram in Jafargadh of Jangaon district.  Based on allegations of links of Innaiah with Maoists, the NIA officials conducted the searches and registered a case against him  and a YouTube channel. They also took him into their custody .

The Children at the ashram tried to stop the NIA officials, who had come to arrest Innaiah . Innaiah  had recently attended the funeral of the Maoist leader Katha Ramachandra Reddy alias Vikalp. The investigation revealed that he had made pro-Maoist remarks at the memorial service for inciting the public.  Besides making the pro-Maoist statements, Innaiah  also made inappropriate remarks against the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister.
