Nita Ambani, wife of prominent businessman Mukesh Ambani, has donated a huge amount of money to the famous Balkampet Yellamma Temple in the city. Nita Ambani donated one crore rupees to the Yellamma Temple. The donation was transferred directly to the temple’s bank account.

In the last April, Nita Ambani's mother Purnima and sister Mamata Dalal visited the Balkampet Yellamma Temple. On the occasion, the temple officials informed them about the uniqueness of the temple. They also asked them to contribute to the development of the temple. The mother of Nita Ambani directly conveyed the request of the temple officials to her. Nita Ambani, who responded positively, deposited one crore rupees in the bank account of the temple for the development of the temple.

The temple committee members informed that they had decided to deposit this amount in a fixed deposit and hold Nityanandanam program with the interest earned. The temple authorities thanked the family members of Nita Ambani for making such a huge donation. It is known that Nita Ambani is a devotee of Balkampet Yellamma. Nita Ambani visits Yellamma, whenever she comes to the city.
