O Andala Rakshasi, directed by and starring Sheraz Mehdi in the lead role is scheduled for release on January 2. The film stars Vihanshi Hegde and Kriti Verma as the female leads and is produced by Surinder Kaur under the “Sky Is the Limit” banner. Ahead of the release, the film’s team held a pre-release event on Sunday. 

Speaking at the event, Sheraz Mehdi described the film as one “backed by excellent content” and assured that the audience won’t feel bored even for a minute. It is entertaining while also carrying a strong message, he said.  Story and dialogue writer Bhashya Sree mentioned that the film is made around the concept of how today’s young women should be. 

Heroine Kriti Verma thanked Sheraz for giving her this opportunity and expressed  belief that the film will become a big hit. Another heroine Vihanshi Hegde described the film in a nutshell saying “When girls are cheated, their beauty turns into a demon—that is O Andala Rakshasi”
