Over 50 investors meet at TiE Women Asia Summit

More than 50 investors, women entrepreneurs, mentors, ecosystem leaders and industry representatives came together in Hyderabad at the TiE Women Asia Summit. Hosted by TiE Hyderabad, the three-day summit from September 24 to 26 features participation from more than 24 TiE chapters and 29 women founders at the regional finals. Delivering the keynote, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson–CSR, Apollo Hospitals and Founder, UR.Life, urged women entrepreneurs to look beyond growth figures and build ventures with purpose and lasting impact. 

The summit also featured a fireside conversation with Priyanka Chigurupati, Executive Director, Granules India Ltd., moderated by M. V. Reddy, Co-Convener of the TiE Women Asia Summit. She spoke about scaling businesses, leadership and the importance of taking on unfamiliar challenges. Rajesh Pagadala, Chair, HEEC Committee, said the organization was working to connect founders with the right people, capital, markets and guidance within Hyderabad's entrepreneurial ecosystem. TiE Hyderabad President Murali Kakarla said hosting the Asia Summit reflected the city's growing role in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
