Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday called upon party leaders and cadre to become active stakeholders in development at the grassroots level. Holding a key meeting with senior leaders at the party’s central office in Mangalagiri, he issued a series of organisational instructions aimed at strengthening the party from village to parliamentary levels.

Pawan emphasised that local needs and infrastructure development, from panchayat to Lok Sabha constituencies, must remain the party’s core focus in the coming months. To ensure this, he announced that the party will constitute committees at every village, mandal, Assembly and parliamentary constituency.

Each village will soon have a five-member committee responsible for monitoring local development works, he said. Similar committees will be formed at higher tiers of the organisation. Pawan revealed that a pilot initiative has already begun in Pithapuram, where a five-member committee is functioning. “After reviewing the pilot model, we will implement this system across the state,” he noted.

Pawan Kalyan stressed that women must be given assured and meaningful representation in all committees. In every five-member committee, at least one and up to two women members must be included. In larger, 11-member committees, three positions will be reserved for women, he said, describing gender inclusion as a non-negotiable organisational principle.

To address internal disputes effectively, Pawan announced that an 11-member “Conflict Management” wing will be created under the supervision of the party headquarters. This body will be tasked with resolving organisational issues swiftly and fairly.

The Jana Sena chief also reviewed the status of nominated posts already filled and instructed leaders to ensure that remaining positions are allotted by adhering to the coalition framework. At the same time, he stressed that loyal party workers who have contributed with sincerity must be given due recognition.
