Peaceful Eid celebrations at Hyd Mir Alam Eidgah

Devotees in large numbers gathered at Mir Alam Eidgah on Saturday to offer special prayers marking the Eid-ul-Fitr festival. The event saw men, women, and children from across the city participating in the prayers, conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.

City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, IPS, personally oversaw security arrangements at Mir Alam Eidgah on Saturday to ensure the celebrations proceeded without any disruptions. After the prayers, he distributed chocolates to children and extended festive greetings to all present, wishing happiness, peace, and prosperity for the community.

The commissioner expressed satisfaction that the month-long Ramadan concluded without any untoward incidents in the city. He highlighted that advance measures were taken to facilitate smooth shopping and prayer arrangements, ensuring devotees did not face any inconvenience. He also thanked religious leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders for their support in organizing the festival successfully.

Senior police officials present included Tafseer Iqbal, IPS (Additional CP – South Range), D. Joyl Davis, IPS (Joint CP – Traffic), N. Swetha, IPS (Joint CP – North Range), R. Venkateshwarlu, IPS (DC – CR Headquarters), S. Srinivas, IPS (DC – Rajendra Nagar Zone), and Avinash Kumar, IPS (DC – Traffic).

The celebrations concluded peacefully on Saturday at Mir Alam Eidgah, with residents appreciating the city police’s efforts in maintaining safety and order. The smooth conduct of the festival highlighted the importance of coordinated planning and community cooperation in ensuring a joyous and secure Eid.
