Mumbai, March 25, 2026:

Uncovering the world of culinary opportunities for Indian households, Philips Home Appliances today announced the launch of Philips Wanchef, an innovative all-in-one smart cooking appliance designed to simplify everyday cooking.

In Mumbai, the discovery was made at an experiential "Chef's Tasting Table" event under the supervision of Ranveer Brar. At the event, guests were invited to explore the diverse culinary flavours of India through live tastings and interactive food stations. At the event, Brar along with Mr. Gulbahar Taurani, MD & CEO, Varsuni India, demonstrated how modern kitchen technology can simplify complex recipes while preserving the authenticity of Indian cooking.

By launching Vanchef, which combines 33 smart cooking functions in a single appliance, the innovation marks the latest step taken by Philips in redesigning the modern Indian kitchen. The appliance, which works with advanced Ambiheat technology, intelligently adjusts to suit a variety of dishes and cooking steps by sensing temperature and heating uniformly. It provides consistent flavor and texture in a wide range of recipes, from everyday comfort meals to dinner-like festive dishes. Speaking at the launch event, Gulbahar Taurani said, "At Versuni, our goal has always been to understand how Indian families actually cook and to create accessories that can be naturally incorporated into their everyday dishes. Indian cuisine is very diverse and often takes a lot of time. That's why solutions that simplify cooking processes without compromising on taste are becoming increasingly important. With Vanchef, we wanted to bring together several cooking methods on a single intelligent platform to make the daily cooking process more natural and efficient. The event also featured a panel discussion on the future of cooking and kitchen innovations in homes. It was attended by Ranveer Brar, Gulbahar Taurani, director Farah Khan and tech expert Rajiv Makhni. They explored how intelligent appliances for modern homes are reshaping everyday cooking experiences.
