Chilkalguda Police solved a brutal murder case within 48 hours and arrested two accused in Hyderabad. The accused were traced and taken into custody from a hotel in Musheerabad on April 25.
The victim, 43-year-old Mohd. Aleem, an AC technician, was found in a pool of blood near KVK Wines in Padmarao Nagar on April 23. He was shifted to Gandhi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police investigation revealed that the accused, who were known to the victim, had consumed liquor together before a heated argument broke out over petty financial disputes linked to liquor and gambling.
During the quarrel, one accused attacked Aleem with a sharp-edged knife, causing fatal injuries to his face. He collapsed on the road and died shortly after.
Police recovered the murder weapon, a blood-stained shirt, and a scooter used in the crime. One accused also has a previous criminal record in an attempt-to-murder case.
The case was cracked through swift investigation by Chilkalguda Police.
