Police carried out surprise inspections of lodges across Mancherial town on Saturday midnight, examining guest records and verifying compliance with security protocols. Mancherial Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Egadi Bhaskar personally supervised the operation and participated in the field inspections. During the checks, he interacted with lodge occupants, verified their details, and inspected individual rooms. The DCP issued several instructions to lodge owners and managers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining accurate records of all guests.

He directed them to mandatorily collect and record Aadhaar card details, phone numbers, and other identification information of every visitor, and to verify the authenticity of their identity documents. Lodge managements were also instructed to install CCTV cameras on their premises and ensure that the surveillance systems remain operational at all times. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining records of visitors arriving from other states, districts, or regions. Managers were advised to immediately inform the police if they observe any suspicious activities or movements by guests.

DCP Bhaskar stated that such surprise inspections would continue as part of ongoing efforts to enhance public safety, prevent crime, and identify suspicious individuals. Meanwhile, police also conducted surprise vehicle checks, naka bandi operations, and drunk-driving tests at key locations in the town, including the IB Chowrasta and Lakshmi Theatre areas. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Prakash, Mancherial Town Inspector Pramod Rao, Sub-Inspector Adi Madhusudan and other police personnel participated in the operations.
