Ponnam and Azhar bat for speedy completion of Musarambagh flyover

Minister for Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Mohammed Azharuddin and Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inspected the ongoing construction works of the Saidabad–Santosh Nagar steel bridge and the Musarambagh flyover in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The Ministers reviewed the progress of both projects along with GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, Hyderabad District Collector Priyanka Ala, senior officials of GHMC, and engineers. They closely inspected the pace and quality of the works and directed the officials to complete the projects within the stipulated time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Mohammed Azharuddin said the state government is giving top priority to strengthening Hyderabad's infrastructure and improving urban connectivity. He said that the Saidabad–Santosh Nagar steel bridge and the Musarambagh flyover are important infrastructure projects that will significantly reduce traffic congestion, improve travel time, and provide safe and convenient transportation for thousands of commuters every day.

The Minister stressed that quality should never be compromised and instructed the officials to ensure timely completion of the projects so that the public can benefit at the earliest. Azharuddin reiterated that modern infrastructure is the foundation of a growing city and reaffirmed the government's commitment to implementing world-class infrastructure projects that improve public convenience, strengthen connectivity, and enhance the overall quality of life for the people of Hyderabad.

Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that the government would take a decision regarding the inauguration of the projects after reviewing the progress of the works. He stated that whichever project is completed first will be inaugurated accordingly.

Ponnam Prabhakar further informed that the inauguration schedule will be finalised after consultations with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, senior officials, and the concerned departments, keeping in view the readiness of the projects and the Chief Minister's schedule. Both Ministers appreciated the dedicated efforts of the officials, engineers, public representatives, and local residents for their cooperation in ensuring the smooth execution of these important infrastructure works.

The Saidabad–Santosh Nagar steel bridge and the Musarambagh flyover are expected to become major traffic relief corridors, providing faster connectivity and supporting Hyderabad's continued urban growth and development.
