RajKummar Rao starrer and Yami Gautam Dhar’s next are set to release on the same date

Yami Gautam Dhar’s upcoming film was recently announced by the makers. The film is titled Nayyi Navelli and is directed by Balaji Mohan. Producer Aanand L Rai shares, “Nayyi Navelli is the kind of story that surprises you at every turn.

When Himanshu and I first discussed the story, we were immediately drawn to the unique way it brings together families for a fantasy, humour and adventure-filled experience. Yami was an instinctive choice, bringing exactly the warmth and mischief the character demands. Amazon MGM Studios has delivered some groundbreaking stories and in our first collaboration with them, we can’t wait to take audiences on this wonderfully unpredictable ride.”

Nayyi Navelli is set to release in cinemas on October 16. However, this means that it will clash with RajKummar Rao-starrer Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam. Prahaar was initially supposed to hit the silver screens on August 7. However, its makers allegedly decided to postpone it to avoid a clash with Awarapan 2 and Batwara 1947, which released on August 14.
