Purushaha promises wholesome entertainment: Pavan Kalyan Battula

The upcoming family entertainer Purushaha, produced by Battula Saraswathi and Battula Koteswar Rao under the Kalyan Productions banner, is all set for release on May 22. The film marks the debut of Pavan Kalyan Battula as the lead actor and is directed by Veeru Vulavala. The cast includes Saptagiri, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Raayancha Kokkura, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer in key roles. A grand pre-release event was held on Monday as part of the promotions.

Speaking at the event, debutant hero Pavan Kalyan Battula thanked the producers, director, and cast for their support throughout the journey. He said the team helped him overcome his hesitation and camera fear, and credited his father and family for shaping his life. He added that Purushaha is designed as a complete family entertainer suitable for the summer season.

Comedian Saptagiri praised the director’s vision and the producers’ commitment, while appreciating the performances of the cast and the music and background score. Director Veeru Vulavala expressed gratitude to the producers and highlighted the strong support from the technical team and actors.

Producer Battula Koteswar Rao said the film was made to fulfill his dream of introducing his son to cinema, while Saraswathi Battula shared her personal connection and support for the project. Actress Tejaswi Rao extended her wishes, hoping the film becomes a success.
