Quality education being ensured in all govt schools: Collector

District Collector K. Haritha has stated that quality education is being ensured in all government schools. She made these remarks while addressing the ‘Vidya Vijayotsavam’ program organised on Sunday at the District Collectorate to mark the successful conclusion of Education Week. The event was held as part of the state government’s flagship initiative “Praja Palana Pragati Pranalika – 99 Days Action Plan”. Additional District Collector Yuvaraj Marmat, Sirpur MLA Palwai Harish Babu, District Education Officer Lalith, District Library Chairman Comrade Anil Kumar, and Asifabad Municipal Chairman Mengre Akash attended the program.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector K. Haritha said the government is taking all necessary steps to provide quality education to students in government schools and welfare hostels by ensuring adequate infrastructure and facilities. She highlighted that experienced and competent teachers are imparting quality education in these institutions. The Collector urged students to make the best use of the facilities being provided by the government, study hard, and achieve their chosen goals.

On this occasion, three students who emerged as district toppers in the 10th class from government and local body high schools were felicitated. Additionally, three students who represented the district at the national level in sports were also honored. Each student received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 apart from a memento and a certificate of appreciation.
