Quality food to be provided in government hostels: MLA

State Minority Welfare Director and Director of Hoticulture and Sericulture department Sheikh Yasmin Bhasha and Vanaparthi MLA Tudi Megha Reddy have said that quality meals should be provided to the students in all hostels including SC, ST, BC and Minority Gurukuls and ensure that the students do not face any difficulties. They had breakfast with the students at the ST Girls Gurukul Vidyalaya in Wanaparthy district headquarters on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, they claimed that the government has increased diet charges by 40% and cosmetic charges keeping in mind the welfare of students studying in hostels and is also building integrated educational hubs to provide quality education. District Minority Welfare Department Officer Afzaluddin, BC Welfare Officer Subba Reddy, School Teachers and Students and others were present on the occasion.
