Telangana BJP State President N Ramchander Rao on Sunday said that people who attracted with the developmental programmes initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi were increasingly looking towards the BJP and joining the party in large numbers.

Rao was addressing a function organized on the occasion of joining of some BRS and Congress leaders into BJP. He welcomed leaders from the BRS and Congress, including Venkatapati Rajanna, Nageshwar Rao Gollapally, Narsing Rao G Shivakumar, and Karan Dev, who joined the BJP in the presence of the Wanaparthy District President.

He further stated that a large number of BRS and Congress party workers, including minority brothers, joined the BJP in Wanaparthy district who attracted with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s good governance, welfare programmes and schemes. He said joining of large number of people gives a clear indication that they are looking towards BJP.

The BJP chief asserted that the BJP's central leadership has provided a corruption-free government for the past 12 years to the people of the country. He predicted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country would reach new heights in the coming days.

"Today, if India is surging ahead as a “ Viksit Bharat”  and a Self-Reliant India, it is because of Modi," he stated adding that this is why people across the country are supporting the BJP.

Taking dig on both the BRS and Congress parties, Rao said the previous BRS government in Telangana was rejected by people due to corruption while the present Congress government has relied only on contractors and commissions. Corruption,  intimidation and following communal politic. The people are expressing their ire for luring them with money in Jubilee Hills assembly constituency, he alleged.

Urging people to give an opportunity to BJP,  the state BJP chief called upon youth, women and educated people to join the BJP to build a glorious future for Telangana with everyone’s cooperation.
