Actor highlights plastic waste in forests after viral tiger video, urges public to protect wildlife habitats through responsible and mindful actions

Actor Randeep Hooda has once again raised concerns over environmental degradation, drawing attention to plastic waste in forest areas. The actor recently shared a video showing a tiger drinking water in the wild. While the visuals initially appear serene, plastic waste visible in and around the area underscores the growing impact of human negligence on natural ecosystems.

Sharing the clip, Hooda wrote, “It’s beautiful… till it’s not! The wild doesn’t need our plastic. It needs our respect,” stressing the importance of not leaving waste behind in forests. The actor has consistently advocated for environmental conservation. From participating in clean-up drives in Madhya Pradesh and Versova beach in Mumbai to supporting humanitarian efforts in Punjab, Hooda has remained actively involved in on-ground initiatives.

Plastic waste, which does not decompose easily, poses a serious threat to wildlife and contaminates natural water sources. Through his continued advocacy, Hooda reiterated that protecting the environment requires sustained effort and responsible behaviour.

He emphasised that preserving natural spaces begins with simple, everyday habits and a commitment to leaving no trace behind.
