Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday said the Congress government in Telangana was not only capable of dreaming big, but equally determined to turn those dreams into reality.

Speaking at the Praja Palana Dinotsavam celebrations at the Ranga Reddy district collectorate, the Minister said, “We began implementing promises within 48 hours of taking office. Telangana itself was once a dream, realised through decades of struggle. Similarly, the dreams we present today will be fulfilled — we are already delivering.”

He outlined transformational projects that will reshape Telangana’s economic and urban landscape.

At the core is the proposed Bharat Future City, a 30,000-acre mega project in Ranga Reddy featuring AI City, Pharma City, Life Sciences hubs, and modern “Super Cities.” A dedicated Future City Development Authority has been formed to oversee the project.

To enhance connectivity, a 41.5-km, 300-feet-wide radial road connecting ORR and RRR has been approved at ₹ 4,000 crore — from Ravirala ORR to Amangal — to boost industrial access and reduce travel time.

He also spotlighted the Musi Riverfront Project, involving river cleansing, buffer zones, recreational spaces, and check dams — aiming for both ecological restoration and citizen engagement.

Reddy noted that Ranga Reddy now leads India in per capita GDP (₹ 11.46 lakh) — driven by Hyderabad’s tech, pharma, and services growth. “With these projects, we will make Ranga Reddy a global model for innovation, industry, and sustainable urbanisation,” he said
