Rayadurg Police crack knife attack robbery case

The Rayadurg Police have successfully solved a robbery case that took place near Mahaprasthanam, informed Detective Inspector T. Bhupati. According to the complaint, the victim, Mohammad Owaisi, was attacked with a knife by an individual, who also snatched his mobile phone and fled. During the attack on the night of 3rd of this month around 10:30 PM, the accused, Mohammad Javeed, also transferred Rs 400 from the victim’s UPI account before escaping on a two-wheeler.

Acting swiftly, the Rayadurg Police Crime Team apprehended the accused on the 5th of this month. Upon recovery, the police seized the stolen mobile phone, two additional mobile phones, and the two-wheeler used in the crime. The accused has been placed in custody and produced for remand.

The police have reiterated their commitment to ensuring public safety and prompt action against criminals.
